MS DMR Heritage 594C12 Brangus Heifer

594C12We purchased Lot 86B MS DMR Heritage 594C12  Brangus Heifer for $15,000 at Cavender’s Neches River Ranch sale April 23, 2016 . She will help in our over all improvements of our herd. Her dam is a summit cow, produced 81 progeny’s, and had a weaning group of 51 ET heifers with a weaning ratio of 113%.

Below is other facts in the sales catalog on this heifer’s sir and dam.

A unique opportunity to select from a pair of females off the absolute top end of the Draggin’ M replacements, stemming back to a dam who has as much history as any in that program and a sire whose daughters in production are proving to be the front pasture kind. Sired by the $34,000 Heritage, who was a highlight of the 2012 GT@CRC sale, these heifers exhibit the same width of base and bold pin structure and dimension of their sire, while showing explosive growth and carcass data.  594C12 shows up in the top 5% for WW, top 10% for YW, top 15% for SC, top 20% for TM, top 25% for REA and top 30% for IMF. Their dam was the $19,000 selection of Ruben Millan, Sonora, Mexico in the 2014 GT@CRC sale and has had a stellar career in the donor pen including producing $26,000 and $20,000 sons in the same sale in which she sold. A definite source of IMF, she records 54 progeny with an average IMF ratio of 106 as well as a WW ratio of 63@102 and a YW ratio of 54@101. Take advantage of the opportunity afforded to add a pair of donor prospects to your herd. You’ll appreciate their quality and disposition.
